Today I had the pleasure of attending the CFO-day, hosted by PWC Sweden. The theme of the day was how you as CFO or Finance function can navigate through the constant changes and create more value to your organization.
Some quotes that I want to lift:
“The winners will be the ones that can change and automize”
“You need to get into the driver’s seat and make changes to your working processes and adapt to new roles”
“CFOs need to take on a more advisory role, go from CFO to CPO (Chief Performance Officer)”
“Invest in your people, and create a sustainable workplace”
“Be brave and start changing”
“Disrupt or die”
The majority of these quotes go directly into digitalization and automation but they also go hand in hand with central management processes, like the budgeting process. In order to survive as a company and become more flexible and make faster decisions, you need to change the budgeting process.
